Michael D. Barham Architects, Inc. was established in 1982 under the direction of Michael D. Barham and our sister company Barham Architects, LLC, was established in 2008 under the direction of Laurie B. Barham.
Barham Architects, LLC received State of Texas HUB certification (Historically Underutilized Business) in September of 2008. Our Lead Architect, Michael D. Barham, has over 28 years experience as a Principal Architect.

From corporate and municipal facility planning and design, academic facility design, hospitals and various medical complexes to custom single-family residences and historic renovation, our commitment to excellence remains the underlying principle of our practice. These projects have ranged from small renovations and upgrades to major additions and stand-alone facilities. The firm has also assisted clients in development of master plans which served to direct that client’s response to growth for the coming years.
Barham Architects offers integrated services including conceptual pre-design and planning, architectural and engineering design, interior design, materials selection and specification writing, ADA/TAS compliance reviews, and energy code reviews. Unlike many firms offering standardized solutions, we develop unique solutions for each client by relying on our knowledge, experience, and expertise gained from similar challenges, coupled with a focus on the client’s specific needs.
